Maryland Maternity Photos with Older Sibling
Maternity photography is a great way to celebrate the coming changes in a family as you wait for the arrival of a newborn baby. As a Maryland Maternity photographer, it’s my absolute pleasure to document families at each stage of their life. Whether its your first baby or fourth baby, each stage of life is unique and should be celebrated.
It’s an exciting time, but at the same time it’s a time of change and uncertainty. This is especially true if you have an older child; even more true if they are going from being an only child. During their last days as the only child, make sure to document your first baby, and your family, just the way they are before everything changes.
During a maternity session with an older sibling, we’ll start out by documenting the entire family. These are the last days before everything changes so let’s get family photos of the way things are right now. We’ll then move on to a few quiet moments whether that’s moments between an older sibling and a parent, or whether it’s just the parents.
The best part of the session (at least in my opinion!) are the moments where we celebrate mom and everything she is going through. She is bringing a new life into this world and that is something to be celebrated. A maternity session celebrates the strength of a woman and her amazing ability to bring life into this world.
