With lifestyle newborn photography, the baby is photographed in a baby led way, with their family. Baby led means the baby is photographed in natural poses that they move into unaided. There is more flexibility with timing for a lifestyle newborn session because the baby doesn’t have to be asleep during the session. They also don’t have to be as flexible to get them into poses, which are more easily done when a baby is younger. This means a session can be done when the baby is three days or three months old. Some families also prefer lifestyle sessions, because they feel more meaningful to the family. They tell the family’s unique story because the images that are documented are ones with the family doing things they normally do together. We took in the beauty of nature while also chatting about what it’s like to be a new mom. But the most important part is we documented those special quiet moments between a mom and her new baby. We also had a fun time designing custom artwork including a gallery of canvases and framed prints.
