Almost a Fresh 48

When baby girl’s mom contacted me to schedule a lifestyle newborn session, she scheduled it for 12 days after her due date. As the time approached, baby girl seemed to be in no rush to make her entrance into the world. Her mom contacted me to see if we could do the session at the hospital, depending on baby girl’s arrival and when they would be sent home. I let her know I would be more than happy to come to the hospital instead; it would be a Fresh 48 Session! (A Fresh 48 Session is a newborn photography session that is held within the first 24-48 hours of a baby’s life at the hospital or birth location). However, baby girl had her own plans and finally arrived 8 days after her due date. I had the pleasure of meeting her just a day after she had been sent home. It was such an honor to be welcomed into baby girl’s home at only 4 days old!! So while it wasn’t a fresh 48 session, it almost was!

Baby girl was absolutely precious and just melted my heart. She was surrounded by such a wonderful family and you could feel the love and pride in the air. In addition to her parents, she had both sets of grandparents and her aunt to welcome her into the world. Welcome to the world little one, you are truly loved by all that surround you.
