Shady Grove Hospital Fresh 48 Session

Newborn sessions have a special hold on my heart. There is something so magical about meeting a family that has just welcomed a precious little being into this world. I met baby girl for her Fresh 48 Session when she was just 24 hours old! A fresh 48 session is designed to capture precious memories of a newborn within the first 24-48 hours of their birth; it’s usually done at the hospital or birth location. It’s a perfect session for capturing a baby when they have just arrived; they are at their tiniest and most precious.

I walked into a room with parents that didn’t seem like they were new parents at all. Mom was looking fresh and gorgeous even though she had just delivered baby girl a day before. And dad was handling and swaddling baby like a pro. They were very impressive!! Sweet baby girl was surrounded by a loving family and she absolutely melted my heart (and everyone else’s hearts). You really do forget how small they are when they first come into this world. They change so fast and its so important to capture all the little details while they are still teeny, tiny. Being there to capture those moments is such a gift. Welcome to the world baby girl!
